The Iowa Library Association fosters a community of innovation and advocacy, supporting and strengthening our members to promote libraries as an essential resource for all Iowans.
The Iowa Library Association was established in 1890. It is the second oldest state library association in the country. ILA has approximately 1300 members. Membership is comprised of librarians, library workers, trustees, students, and friends.
ILA would like to introduce Michele Denkinger as the new Executive Director for the Iowa Library Association. She works with Capture Management Solutions, our new management company, and will be introducing a new members management system for members.
